- Take a look here where you can find out more on Fortinet Technologies Inc. Usually the FortiClient program is to be found in the C: Program Files Fortinet FortiClient folder, depending on the user's option during setup.
- FortiClient App supports SSLVPN connection to FortiGate Gateway. SSLVPN allows you to create a secure SSL VPN connection between your device and FortiGate. Your connection will be fully encrypted and all traffic will be sent over the secure tunnel. It also supports FortiToken, 2-factor authentication.

Recommends this product
Highly recommend this end point protection suite
I will say this - as I did with my review of the FortiGate firewall we put in place: if you start down the path to deploying FortiNet technology, ask as many questions and get as much in-depth answers as you can in terms of what you need to make everything gel together. Mindmaster crack download.
Want Single Sign On and/or reporting on what your users are doing? You need the FSSO agent installed (ideally) on all DC's.
I honestly love this end point protection suite: AV, Web Filtering, Application Control, Vulnerability scans and built-in VPN that can be deployed from EMS (strongly suggest this to manage your FortiClient fleet). And more so you can create as many end point profiles as you need - IE one for servers specifically..
On that..you need to disable Application Firewall and Web Filtering on your servers - otherwise expect to run into resource utilization issues on your DC's!!!
Setting up FSSO can be a bit tricky - make sure you open up the necessary ports on Windows Firewall - otherwise FSSO agent will never find your FortiGate. EMS doesn't require the same config as FSSO.
Had some issues with 5.6.5 in terms of clients not picking up the proper group settings and had some clients not able to hit any Internet resources - but 6.0 is looking really good so far.
What are the pros?
You get 10 free FortiClient licenses but you really need EMS to get the most out of it. We found that it was actually cheaper than Trend Security Services over 3 years.
As mentioned above - lots included. Schedule the Vulnerability Scan to run monthly - great way to see what systems need your attention for Java, Python, PHP etc.
What are the cons?
Not much once you get the config right. Strongly suggest running through the admin guide for EMS. Unfortunately I did not read anywhere in the guide to disable Web Filtering and Application Control for servers - support said it was not a recommended setup. Performance issues went away on DC's once disabled.
